CaMpUs LiFe





Malaysian Institute of Chemical Engineering Technology is one of the branches of University Kuala Lumpur and it is located in Alor Gajah, Malacca. The specialization course here is Chemical Engineering Technology. The registration for the new student is on July semester which took place at Multipurpose Hall which began at 9.00 at the morning and end up at 12 on the afternoon. There are five courses offered for diploma and bachelor level which are Chemical Engineering Technology in Food, Polymer, Process, Bioprocess and Environment. Besides that, Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Biosystem is also offered for bachelor level.

For new students, orientation session is organized so that they became familiar with the campus’s environment. The orientation week which is organized by facilitators consists of lots of activities and games. They are also introduced to the Dean, Deputy Dean and also other staffs. Students also are brought to go around the campus’s area and get to know all the buildings which consist of administration department, academic affairs department, laboratories and classes.

After the whole week of orientation session, students started to attend classes according to their timetable. Life as a student is a bit busy. Students have to manage their life and studies through a hectic day. Everyday they mingle around with friends and other students for study group and other activities. CafĂ© is a good place where students can meet their classmates and friends. They can do their study group to finish up assignments, mini projects and also laboratory reports. That is the campus life faced by student's everyday in their life; compete with friends and others to get more knowledge and worked together to finish up their assignments and reports.
